Baan Fah Sai ("clear sky"
in Thai) embodies the Tamarind Retreat philosophy of
embracing interior and exterior. This beautifully furnished
home has been meticulously designed to take advantage
of the natural elements -- breeze, sky, forest, sea
-- without sacrificing any comfort.
Perched high upon a hillside, Baan Fah
Sai overlooks three separate vistas: the nearby mountains,
a spectacular sea, and the beaches of Lamai. The spacious
outdoor deck affords panaromic views of the star-studded
night skies.
|
| Baan
Fah Sai's large terrace is a perfect venue for enjoying
the view - whether it's breakfast in the shade,
star-gazing at night, or simply sunbathing in a
deckchair. |
|
|
For comfort, privacy and sublime views,
Baan Fah Sai is ideal. However, there is a downside!
Road access to Baan Fah Sai requires a car, preferably
a jeep. On foot, the house is about 250 meters (feels
like 400!) up a fairly steep hill. Also the unprotected
deck may not be suitable for toddlers or young children.
|
| The
living room leads on to an outside bathroom, and
easily converts into a second bedroom. |
|
|
| The
main bedroom en-suite opens out over the jungle
canopy. |
|
| Baan
Fah Sai is a celebration of nature and gracious
living the central living area is open on
two sides, allowing the hillside breezes to keep
the house cool at all times. |
|
|
The villa has a main bedroom-en-suite,
and a downstairs bedroom with toilet. If additional
accommodation is required, the living room, which adjoins
a large outdoor guest bathroom, converts easily into
an extra sleeping area. A day bed in the cool downstairs
room is ideal for an afternoon nap or a kid's playroom.
The versatile Baan Fah Sai comfortably
sleeps four to six people and is a perfect holiday home
for social and festive occasions. Likewise, its secluded
location and panoramic vistas make it an ideal private
retreat for couples.
