What a wonderful place this is. Octavio
was a perfect home away from home for our family. Everything
was perfect. The staff was very friendly and helpful.
I hope we can come again some time. It was a great break
from KL and a memorable New Year's Eve.

our 10-year anniversary, X-mas & New Year 2001. The
house - Rock 'n Wood - was my house!! So comfortable & relaxing.
You were all very attentive & pampering. Everything

A magical, superbly relaxing place away
from the mayhem of modern life. The massages are amazing,
the staff superb and the location tranquility itself.

We spent 6 nights in the Pond House and
we really don't want to leave! We indulged in spa treatments
every day and had 3 dinners at Betelnut. This was the
perfect, relaxing end to an eight-week trip in Asia.

I don't think I can begin describing the
pleasure I have experienced here at the Tamarind Retreat.
Let's just say I was a wee bit close to losing it when
our boat to Koh Tao was rained out & me & my
luggage were soaking wet. But, miraculously, there was
one spot left at the Tamarind (the luxurious Wind House), & my
friend and I were saved. Soooo.. we pampered ourselves
at the spa & were pampered by the wonderful Tamarind
staff - needless to say, I am coming back & recommending
it to everyone & anyone I know! Thanks

We came, we saw and we fell
in love with Tamarind Retreat! It is truly something and
some place different and it sure beats the regular tourist
stuff of beaches and sunbathing. The spa was fabulous.
We've covered so many in our job, but this one is particularly
the cream of the crop. I fell asleep right in the middle
of the massage which was good for me but for the job…uh-oh!
Thank you for the excellent hospitality, taking care of
us so much so that we hardly felt homesick. Hats off to "Defter" and
your crew for putting your talents & inspiration together
and being so magnanimous in sharing it all with us. Till
we meet again perhaps next time, unofficially, take care
and blessings to all.

huge team who gave their time, energy, creativity, spirit,

was more fabulous than we could ever have dreamed. Every
